Filter Incidents

Tactical Analyst allows you to filter incidents to display the common operating picture you want to see. You can apply filters and save the filters so they are available if you need them again.

Active Filters

The active filters panel allows you to quickly see which filters are active and quickly remove applied filters.

View the active filters panel by clicking “Active Filters” in the top app bar.

Clear individual filters by clicking next to the active filter or clear all applied filters by clicking “Clear All

Select what you want to filter.

Clear all applied filters.

Apply selected filters.

The filters panel has been designed so that it can be opened independent of other tools you may be working with.

Open the Filters Panel

There are 2 main ways to open the filters panel:

  1. From Active Filters – Click “Open Filters” from the Active Filters Panel.
  2. From the Incident List – Click at the top of the incident list.

Apply Filters

  1. Open the Filters Panel
  2. Select “Incidents” from the drop down at the top of the incidents panel.
  3. Select the filters you want to apply
  4. Click “Apply

Save Filters

  1. Apply the preferred filters
  2. Click to save filters
  3. Enter a filter name
  4. Click “Save

Apply Saved Filters

  1. Open the Filters Panel
  2. Click to open saved incident filters
  3. Click on the preferred saved filter

Clear Filters

There are 2 main ways to clear applied filters:

  1. From Active Filters –Clear individual filters by clicking next to the active filter or clear all filters by clicking “Clear All
  2. From the Filters Panel – Clear individual filters by deselecting a filter and clicking “Apply” or clear all filters by clicking “Clear All“.
